The list of devices expected to be upgraded to Android 7.0 Nougat is so far as follows: Galaxy S7 (S7, edge, Active), Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge and edge Plus, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy Tab A with S Pen, Galaxy Tab S2 (LTE unlock), Galaxy A3, and Galaxy A8.


Projected Timeline Of Android 7.0 Nougat Update Release

There is currently no official timeline regarding when the aforementioned devices that will receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update, but Samsung promises them all within the first half of the year.


Given that the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge are currently receiving their Android Nougat update in a worldwide release.

The smartphone was recently seen running Android 7.0 on Geekbench, indicating the update for the handset could be on its way soon.


Other devices expected to be next in line to get their Android 7.0 Nougat updates are the Galaxy S6 and its variants, and the Galaxy S6 Active.

Samsung was actually confirmed to have been working on the Android Nougat firmware build for the S6 back in November 2016.
