I have owned my current PC laptop for 5 years, and since its an i7 (2.6 - 3.3 turbo) It performs well, but has outdated USB, slow 5400rpm Hard disk.. Plus some of the keys have become defective. The DVD drive is busted but hardly neccessary nowadays.

So my goal was to get a new device with USB 3 or faster, for accessing and edit direct to ext HDD and USB Sticks.
Also to edit 4k Video, which it already takes long enough when rendering quality 1080p 50p.

I noticed that intel had recently released there 6th gen chips know as Skylake. I read this is a big improvement in over a decade.
Also being Quad core would double my CoreDuo. And with this out comes DDR4 with a blistering speed of 2100MHz. My laptop is 1086MHz. So this would hopefully render video much faster, along with photo editing anything else open in memory.
