A £4000 Limited Edition Candy Red Turbo Levo FSR Mountain-bike has been stolen

Police investigating the theft of a rare bike in Hemel Hempstead are appealing for information on its whereabouts.

The red The Turbo Levo FSR Specialized men’s electronic mountain bike, valued with an RRP of £4,000, was stolen from Leisure Wheels, in the High Street, at around 5pm on Saturday, December 17.

The offender entered the store, cut off cable ties which were securing the bike and then made off towards Gadebridge Park.

PC Matthew Cann, who is investigating, said: “The bike requires a charger to use it to its full capacity so it will be relatively useless in its current state, as it was stolen without one.

“The bike is also quite rare and so would be recognisable to anyone who comes across it. I am appealing for anyone who thinks they may have seen it advertised for sale to please get in touch with police straight away. I would also like to hear from anyone who thinks they may know who is responsible for stealing the bike.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference D1/16/9315. or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111
